Jim founded The Valentine Group (formerly MWPolitical) in 2017 and has worked with thousands of campaigns at every level — from school board up to Presidential races — deploying digital, CTV, and SMS programs. Bringing emerging technology to politics has been Jim's throughline for a decade — from pioneering voter-file targeting via mobile device IDs, to building one of the first P2P texting platforms, to launching Voter Signal's conversational AI in 2025. Before politics, Jim spent a decade in global digital and mobile advertising and another fifteen years in enterprise software and internet infrastructure. Jim attended the University of Georgia and lives in Dorado Beach, Puerto Rico with his wife and business partner Janna.
Janna leads television and cross-channel media planning at The Valentine Group. A media-industry veteran, she has worked as a Senior TV Media Buyer since the early 1990s, with deep experience across linear and addressable television. Janna was previously a product specialist at programmatic TV startup Videa, bridging the worlds of traditional TV buying and modern data-driven placement. She graduated from Vanderbilt University and lives in Dorado Beach, Puerto Rico with Jim and their family.
Regan leads media planning, services, and AI strategy at The Valentine Group. She has managed digital, SMS, and CTV programs for campaigns at every level — from local mayor's races to Congressional campaigns. She also leads conversation design for Voter Signal, custom-building the AI flows that let each campaign's AI sound like its candidate. Regan graduated from Dartmouth College in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Economics and Sociology. She lives in Virginia Beach with her husband and three children.
